Officially Lady Eve’s Last Con is out today in the US and Thursday in the UK — though in practice I’m hearing from UK friends that they’ve also got it today and from US friends who ordered from indie bookstores that it’s been landing for them all throughout the past week, so as always dates and times are an imaginary construct [especially imaginary because I myself forgot that Tuesday is US release date and not UK release date until This Very Morning!]
Anyway, the long and the short of it is that you can now buy it anywhere but if you want a signed copy you should buy from the Brookline Booksmith in particular, where I will be doing my launch party, UNLESS you are in the DC area in which case you should probably wait a couple days until I have a formal link for an event I will be doing at People’s Book in Takoma Park and buy a signed copy from them instead. Also it’s a US Amazon Editor’s pick, which is very kind of them [while shaking my head to show I don’t approve of Amazon etc] but also if you want to read it you are perfectly free to ignore all these links and just get it at a library.
A couple other things upcoming: I’m on a virtual panel at the Nebula conference this weekend about Battle Couples, and I’ll be doing an r/fantasy AMA on June 20th, if anyone has Anything to Ask Me, plus another virtual online panel in July as part of a lineup of people writing screwball comedy which I’m very excited about …. I think that’s everything for now, expect links to some of these events I have mentioned when I have them, and enjoy the book if you decide to read it!
