I’m gearing up for a somewhat jam-packed July! First coming up this weekend (July 11-14) is Readercon; I will be doing a reading and will also be on a number of panels, including:

Fantasies of Political Inagency (Thursday 8 PM)
Institutional Memory and Erasure in Fictional Societies (Friday 6 PM)
The Novels of Mo Xiang Tong Xiu (Friday 9 PM)
Classics with Undeservedly Bad Reputations (Saturday 1 PM)
The Works of Naomi Mitchison (Saturday 3 PM)

All that’s only really relevant for anyone else who will be at Readercon, but then a couple days later on July 17th I’ll be on a virtual panel hosted by Meet Cute Bookstore titled “Old Movies and New Romance” about rom-coms that riff on old cinema, which should be an extremely good time: https://meetcutebookshop.com/events/40118

And then following that on July 22 at 6 PM I will be in person at Main Street Takoma as I have mentioned previously to talk about Lady Eve’s Last Con with Sarah Wendell of Smart Bitches Trashy Books!

That’s all for now on the public appearances front, and perhaps all for the updates for a little while in general as I am confidently expecting to spend the month of August in a state of semi-hibernation.
